Chutney bites

When we make Puris, there could be leftover Puri dough. From that leftover dough, you can make chutney bites.

Ingredients:
4-5 Green Chilies
¾ cup Cilantro
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Grated dry coconut
Ingredients for puri dough(40 to 50 medium Puris)
1 cup Whole wheat flour
2 tbsp Chickpea flour
1 tbsp Semolina
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Oil
Oil for deep frying

Method:
1) Heat 2 tbsp oil to high temperature and pour into wheat flour. Add chickpea flour, semolina and salt to taste. Add water and make tight dough.
2) In a grinder, put green chilies, cilantro, cumin seeds, and Grated dry coconut, and salt, grind to fine chutney. Add 1 tsp sesame seeds if you like the flavor.
3) Once Puris are done, make 2 inch round balls out of the leftover dough. Roll it with roller pin to thin tortilla. Take one tortilla, and spread enough chutney all over it. Make a tight roll. Stick the two extreme edges together (See photo).( After sticking the two edges of roll, the shape will look like water droplet
On medium heat, fry this roll shaped roll till golden brown. Put it on kitchen towel and cut it into 1 inch bites. Serve hot . Chutney bites should be served hot as appetizers.
